A head of a slaughtered goat and its intestines are placed at a local shrine together with rice and fruit as ritual offerings to the deities during a Bratabandha ceremony in Bhaktapur. The ritual, known in Newari as Ketapuja, is a coming of age ceremony for boys before they become teenagers.
