Jewish cemetery located on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem with the prominent buildings of the Old City - Al-Aqsa mosque and Dome of the Rock - behind the city wall. The burial site holds about 150,000 graves and has been used for over 3,000 years. According to Judaism the resurrection of the dead will begin there when the Messiah comes.
